So many wonderful volunteers, and experiences and people to thank... this is just the beginning. Yet, it is high time we salute our volunteers because they reflect the best of America and this world . They bring us all closer to our humanity.

From all life experiences, cultures ,ages, religions and ethnicities...just like our incredible troops...our volunteers give back with grace,dignity and the warmest hearts around !

I simply cannot boast enough about our volunteers whether young or old, disabled or not, rich or poor...at Homefront Hugs USA. Here, we leave our politics and differences behind and unite to serve our communities and those who protect our freedoms every day. Every volunteer carries his or her own volunteer card as a small symbol of the Homefront Hugs volunteer community. I believe stewardship is a quality and talent our youngest children can be taught and sometimes do better than grownups, without pause.

I look forward to having this page grow as the years progress...and adding more of you. There are also many of our volunteers who choose to do so quietly and without recognition. To you, we quietly thank you and appreciate and respect your anonimity.

Huge thanks to the Harvey, Ludergnani , Richards, Begley and the Barbee Kids who have helped us so much this Christmas season with their allowances, their love and cards, baking cookies and sewing blankets for our wounded with special messages of hope and prayers. Our youngest generation rocks !!

Special Thanks all the OBE (Oriole Beach Elementary) families who helped bring treats for our programs- for troops- for wounded and the deserving familes dealing with deployments...Giving back sure feels good and every child who helps gets their own volunteer card !!
