  • Operation Healing Angel USA and  Europe  due to an urgent plea from a medical worker at Landstuhl Hospital where our wounded first go in Germany, we are collecting letters and cards from individuals and groups- children and adults- young and old... for our wounded   and their awesome caregivers : the nurses and physicians (also military heroes) who care for the most serious of injuries in heroes ( brain injury and spinal cord )every day with honor and grace.  They are heroes themselves.

SEND, SEND,SEND- GRAB A STAMP AND HELP PLEASE TO BRING A SMILE AND SHARE A HUG WITH THESE HEROES.

IT ONLY TAKES A PIECE OF PAPER, A HOMEMADE CARD, A POSTCARD AND A 39 CENT STAMP !!! YES_ you can send to our wounded through us too as we will make sure it gets screened and gets there...we have the largest hospital now under our wing in Iraq  !

  • I spoke to a nurse named Chris on 8-21-06 who was overwhelmed that anyone even thought of them at the Tampa VA Hospital...so please- send cards and letters- you can even include a gift card for the units to spend on their teams to help the shifts go by more easily...in any amount...It can be to Wal-mart or Publix grocery stores ...but this is optional.
  • You can also even send a care package of edible goodies and bright pens and clipboards and calendars for the medical staff if you wish...The troops would love DVDs,music CDs,soft comfy socks, postcards from the USA and cards.
Send them to us:

8. Donate to the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance fund for the 1st responders - our troops in the Coast Guard who lost their homes too as they rescued all of us... they will be our heroes once again this 2007 season and still deserve our support!

9. Donate to Fisher House- 3 wonderful ways below:

Your gift will be used to help meet the cost of lodging for a family whose loved one was injured in Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation Iraqi Freedom. There is a limit to the number of families who can stay in a Fisher House. We are committed to help provide lodging for families who must find commercial lodging, because the Fisher House is full.

Fisher House supports military personnel wounded in action and those seriously ill being treated in military hospitals in the U.S. and overseas. Your donation of "Gifts from the Homefront" certificates will ease the burden for military personnel and their families at a most stressful time in their lives.

Fisher House is proud to be one of a select group of national organizations participating in special program that provides military families in need with gift certificates that can be used to buy food and staples through the commissary (the military's grocery store). Your gift help meet the basic needs of a family during a stressful time.
